Shinshot NutriLab Product Trial Program: Seeking More Restaurant Partners

An invitation for restaurant partners to test our products and build long-term collaboration.

To better align with the real operational needs of Chinese restaurants in the United States, Shinshot NutriLab is now opening its Product Experience Program to more restaurant partners.

Through real kitchen operations and customer feedback, we aim to better understand the specific requirements of restaurants in different regions and cuisines regarding taste, portion size, reheating methods, and packaging specifications. Together with our partners, we hope to explore more stable and efficient product solutions.

Why Launch a Product Experience Program?

Chinese restaurants vary widely in menu positioning and kitchen conditions. The same dish may require adjustments in spiciness, salt level, sauce ratio, portion size, or reheating method depending on the restaurant.

Internal R&D testing alone cannot fully reflect real-world peak-hour kitchen performance. Therefore, Shinshot NutriLab invites more restaurants to participate in hands-on trials, allowing products to be used in real kitchen environments. Through the full workflow—ingredient handling, reheating, secondary preparation, and plating—we evaluate whether the products are truly convenient and practical.

Real feedback from restaurants will also serve as a key reference for future product optimization.

Which Restaurants Are a Good Fit?

This program is primarily designed for U.S.-based Chinese restaurants seeking stable product and supply chain solutions, including:

Restaurants looking to reduce daily prep work and basic ingredient handling;

Restaurants with peak-hour order surges that need improved service efficiency;

Restaurants with limited kitchen staff aiming to simplify certain dish operations;

Restaurants planning to add new menu items without significantly increasing kitchen workload;

Restaurants interested in standardized products, customized flavors, or long-term supply partnerships.

Whether dine-in, takeout, or multi-location operations, Shinshot NutriLab will first understand the restaurant’s menu structure and operational needs before confirming suitable trial directions.

How Does the Product Experience Work?

After submitting basic information, the Shinshot NutriLab team will first discuss cuisine positioning, target customers, kitchen equipment, portion standards, and daily service workflow.

Based on this discussion, both parties will determine suitable products for testing. Once delivered, chefs may follow recommended reheating instructions or adapt the product using their own sauces, side dishes, and plating styles.

The focus of the experience is not simply “whether it tastes good,” but whether the product integrates smoothly into the restaurant’s existing workflow: ease of operation, appropriate reheating time, consistency of output, and the ability to reduce repetitive work during peak hours.

We Value Honest Feedback

Every restaurant has different priorities. Some focus on taste, others on cost and portion size, while others care more about packaging, storage space, or operational steps.

After the trial, Shinshot NutriLab will discuss feedback with restaurants across multiple dimensions, including flavor, texture, portioning, packaging, reheating method, and final presentation. For products with optimization potential, our team will evaluate improvements based on this feedback.

Honest feedback is not about finding a single “correct answer,” but about determining whether the product is a good fit for the restaurant and whether there is potential for long-term collaboration.

Starting from One Trial, Exploring Long-Term Partnerships

Shinshot NutriLab aims to build more than a transactional relationship with restaurants. We seek long-term partnerships based on continuous communication and joint product optimization.

If the trial results meet the restaurant’s needs, both parties may further discuss product specifications, supply arrangements, and long-term cooperation models. If the current product is not an ideal fit, the feedback will still help guide future R&D improvements.

We welcome Chinese restaurants seeking stable and efficient kitchen solutions to contact SHinshotNutriLab. Specific trial products, participation conditions, and delivery arrangements will be confirmed based on location and operational needs.
